here we go!

Carter is now 9 months old and full
of smiles, sounds and a personality!

It's amazing to me that this active boy
is the same baby from 9 months ago!

He is crawling for things...

moving forward and...

backwards

Loving to eat, lately he has been shoving it all in
at once...

but not for long, he's ready to play again
and lately has been peeking over the top of the crib
and pulling down the bumpers to see out...
of course the bumpers are necessary
for when he gets up on all fours to crawl
in his crib.. he'd have a lot of bruises by now!

But he's still a charmer

and he loves sugary suckers, sorry Grammy !

Little Man

Carter has grown and changed so much this past month I can't believe it! He sits up and plays with his toys for a good 15-30 minutes, he seems more aware, he smiles when I bring out the camera and he smiles and talks to everyone who looks at him- a charmer already! He is scooting backwards but not crawling yet, and he is loving baby food! He gets mad when it runs out and looks like a little bird with his arms wide open and his mouth wide open waiting for you to feed him! We are so amazed by him everyday and are so lucky to get to be parents... although it's hard at times it's so fun and we wouldn't trade it for anything!

and Carter was playing on the floor, when I turned around he was
gone then I noticed the dishwasher and this little brown
fuzzy thing peeking out...

sure enough he scooted himself under the door!
